At the start of the second half, Mikel Arteta made one substitution. Gabriel Martinelli was withdrawn and replaced by Willian.

At the end of the match, there was an incident where Alexandre Lacazette collided with Harry Maguire. Maguire could continue the match while Lacazette had to be withdrawn and replaced by Bukayo Saka.
