Alexander-Arnold Premier League Player of the Month November

Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was named Premier League Player of the Year for November 2021, while Manchester City picked up another two monthly awards.

As reported by the English Premier League's official website, Friday (12/10/2021), the two awards were in the form of Best Manager won by Pep Guardiola, and Best Goal which was awarded to midfielder Rodri.

Alexander-Arnold picked up his second monthly player of the year award since last December, after the England international scored one goal, four assists for Liverpool last month, plus two clean sheets for the Reds in three Premier League games throughout November 2021.

Alexander-Arnold eliminated five of his competitors in the final poll, namely City full-back Joao Cancelo, Watford winger Emmanuel Dennis, Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn, City attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva and Liverpool striker Diogo Jota.

Alexander-Arnold's victory also saw Liverpool win the Premier League Player of the Year award for the second month in a row, after Mohamed Salah won it in last October's edition.

Meanwhile, Guardiola picked up the November 2021 Best Manager award after guiding City to a clean sweep of three games in the last month.

Guardiola won the award for the 10th time, and only lost more than the legendary Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson (27 trophies) and former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger (15 trophies).

Guardiola surpassed new Aston Villa coach Steven Gerrard and Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp in the final poll.
